Apple's U.S. lobbying budget increased to

So far Apple did with the lobbying in the U.S. capital of Washington,
compared to competitors in the IT industry back sooner. But slowly the
changes: The computer company strengthens its local presence through the
engagement known lobbying firms and also increases the budget for such
activities. As is clear from filings , Apple has issued a total of 790
000 in the second quarter of 2011 U.S. dollars for lobbying the federal
government.

Here were covered areas such as technical training, patent law and the
handling of electronic waste. The total was compared to the same period
($ 330,000 in Q2/2010) more than doubled compared to the previous
quarter ($ 560,000 in Q1/2011) by over 40 percent.

With these sums, Apple is still not up to the activities of Internet
giant Google , which spent $ 2.06 million in the second quarter of 2011
- an increase of 54 percent over the same period last year. One of the
rising stars among the technology lobbyists include Facebook, where it
began in the second quarter of 2011 at least $ 320,000 for Washington.
