Update for Final Cut Pro XML-X is sufficient to support

Apple has introduced in the early hours of Wednesday a first major update for Final Cut Pro provided X . Version 10.0.1 , which can be downloaded from the Mac App Store  should be, some of the longtime users criticized resolve problems  in the most recent version of the professional editing solution. Apple had an update after some harsh debate already promised in June .

New to Final Cut Pro X version 10.0.1, among other things, an integrated media Stems export. This allows to define so-called roles, then let the export dialogs, for example, effects or music as a single multi-track files. Users also had long awaited the return of the XML support: The new version allows to realize a much easier collaboration with external applications. According to Apple Blackmagic Design (DaVinci Resolve), use Square Box System (CatDV) and various other manufacturers support the new XML workflow for its upcoming add-on programs.

Apple also has a support for its in-house Storage Area Network XSAN in the new version installed. It can store both projects and future events, which should improve multi-user workflows significantly. Among the smaller new features also include full-screen support in Lion, user-definable start-time codes, a GPU-accelerated and export an SDK that camera manufacturers will create import plug-ins easier. Apple, however, has not yet integrated the multi-camera interface and a video monitoring in broadcast quality - both late filing of the computer company will in future updates.

Besides the full version 10.0.1, Apple has also a demo for the first time Final Cut Pro X placed online. They will be distributed after registration on Apple.com and tried it for 30 days. Apple apparently hopes to convince more professionals in this way from the radically redesigned  editing solution.

Parallel to the Final Cut Pro-X Compressor 4.0.1 update also appeared  and Motion 5.0.1 . Both updates resolve errors, especially, Motion can now also deal simultaneously with two screens. Final Cut Pro users can view the new X ProApps QuickTime codecs download 1.0.1  to improve the support for various video formats.
