Report: Intel MeeGo married with LiMo

According to unconfirmed information, the Financial Times Germany, Intel plans mobile Linux operating system MeeGo with the LiMo Foundation to bring together. It would be Intel's second attempt, a strong partner in developing a Linux platform for smartphones and other mobile devices to use in cars.

Meego The project is just 18 months old, first announced in February 2010, Intel and Nokia that they would continue to develop its mobile Linux platforms Moblin and Maemo will jointly under the name Meego. But Nokia had no luck with his commitment to Linux and moved in February 2011 on Windows Mobile operating system for its future smartphones.

Meanwhile, Google, has initiated the konurrierenden Open Handset Alliance, acquired the mobile arm of Motorola. LiMo phones are distributed mainly in Asia.
