The Higher Regional Court Düsseldorf, will on 20 December on the appeal
of Samsung in tablet dispute with Apple to negotiate. This date for the
hearing told the court on Monday (Az: 20 U 175/11). In the first
instance had the Düsseldorf Regional Court banned by the South Korean
electronics giant injunction, its tablet computers Galaxy Tab 10.1 to
distribute in Germany.
Apple accuses Samsung of infringing on the proprietary Galaxy tablet
design patterns. In the case concerns only the external appearance of
the Samsung Tablets, no patents on software or technology. Apple had
already in 2004 to protect design elements of a Tablet PC in Europe as a
so-called design.
