Facebook replaced by Wall Timeline

Facebook replaced by Wall Timeline

Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg at f8 developer conference, a fundamental
redesign of profile pages presented in the social network . The new
concept is also expressed in the title: Within the current Board of
profiles is replaced by a timeline in which the content can be one-or
two-column display. About the actual time list is now a large-format,
wide screen displays, on which the actual profile picture is set - loud
Zuckerberg "a great way to meet a person without anything to read from
it." This so-called cover replaces the existing photo gallery preview of
five placed side by side thumbnails.

Mark Zuckerberg is "Time Line" before the presentation is still
chronological, however, Facebook users can now prioritize content
according to their personal importance. Considered particularly relevant
events can be fold over the profile width of a column instead of just in
Show, irrelevant content. One's own history is also now a much greater
emphasis: although (by default) less contributions in the timeline
display, the longer lag behind the events. For the entries can now go
beyond the filing date on Facebook, by content (text, photos, videos)
can be entered accordingly backdated.

Unlike the recently introduced video chat integration, the new feature
is not available immediately after the performance. Facebook speaks of
the timeline would be gradually brought into line "within the next few
months" online. The info page on Facebook interested can sign up for a
priority access ("Sign Me Up").
