Oracle's Java Community Process Design for taking significant hurdle

Oracle's Java Community Process Design for taking significant hurdle

The Oracle presented and JSR 348 (Java Specification Request) guided
redesign of the Java Community Process is an important hurdle in the
whole voting process. He will be presented in the next step as a final
draft to the vote.

JSR 348 is the idea behind increasing the transparency of the community
process and the dismantling of barriers to participation in expert
groups and committees. In addition to the agility of the process are
increased (especially through the introduction of timeouts to stagnant
or only slowly promoted JSRs) and the two governing bodies for the Java
Standard Edition (Java SE) and the Java Enterprise Edition (Java EE)
combined.

Almost all the important members of the Java-SE/EE-Gremiums
participated in the vote on JSR 348th

The vote ended for Public Review of JSR 348 with [4] 14 votes in favor
of the SE / EE bodies. Google abstained and VMware participated in the
vote. There were no votes against. Google said its abstention in the
rest so that you do not believe the submitted JSR address the real
problems of the JCP.
