Google's electronic purse is in regular operation

Google has completed four months after the field test phase of its
electronic wallet. Now provides the Internet service provider Sprint
smartphone owners of Nexus S 4G from a software with which they can use
the payment system, says the Google blog. This smartphone has an NFC
chip, which allows non-contact numbers.

With Google Wallet, participating U.S. citizens nationwide pay with
their phone to the terminals provided by MasterCard PayPass system. The
NFC chip in the mobile phone transmits in a specially secured area of
the chip stored cardholder's payment information when the phone is held
briefly at the terminal.

"This is just the beginning," responsible for the payment services
manager Osama Bedier wrote on the company blog. "Our goal is that you
can use all your cards on Google's Wallet." With Visa, American Express
and Discover, Google has taken another major credit card providers on
board. Now just fill in grade smartphones. "We expect that we can bring
Google Wallet in the future on more phones," Bedier said. The three
German mobile operator Telekom, Vodafone and O2 will launch in the
coming year with its ongoing since 2008, mobile-payment project Mpass.
