The SE-208BW releases CDs and DVDs in the network via SMB and DLNA. The Korean electronics manufacturer Samsung shows at the IFA in hall 20 external DVD burner with built-in network and WLAN interface. The SE-208BW will also stream via SMB and DLNA sharing data, music and movies. That should work according to the manufacturer not only with netbooks and DLNA-enabled TVs, but about right apps for Android and IOS with smartphones and tablets.
