7 contained the recently released Firefox as Thunderbird 7 a bug where
under certain circumstances, add-ons were no longer visible. This bug
have fixed the developers of the free browser, now with version 7.0.1.
After becoming aware of the problem, the automatic update program was
first exposed. The built-in correction now is to ensure that downloaded
directly from a browser update add-ons are installed properly after the
update.
Simultaneously, the beta version of Firefox was released 8. It adds a
Twitter search engine, among other things, improved memory management
and the pace of the audio and video elements from HTML5 and brings
automatic hyphenation in more languages.
