The deadline is at: Facebook apps only with OAuth 2.0 and HTTPS

Developers will have to be careful in future, to authenticate their
Facebook applications via OAuth 2.0 and used for the transmission of the
HTTPS protocol. After the deadline set by Facebook for canvas and has
expired on within Facebook pages via Apps Tab achievable now, the
company is now the distribution of Canvas and Page Tab apps without
limit and 11 from the secure URL October 2011, the remaining non-OAuth
endpoints caps.

Applications that Facebook's outdated JavaScript library
(FeatureLoader.js) or the old iPhone SDK (facebook-iphone-sdk) for
authentication, will work from that date until more until they just go
on OAuth 2.0.

Facebook also recommends in this connection to update, if the current
PHP SDK (version 3.1.1 is available on github) and in the case of the
JavaScript SDK OAuth 2.0 per opt-in to unlock.

Information about migrating to 2.0 and OAuth to use HTTPS Facebook has
gathered in its developer documentation.
