Adobe brings apps for tablets

Adobe brings apps for tablets

Adobe has announced at its developer conference, MAX six graphic apps for Android Tablets, the beginning of next year should stand as iPad applications. These so-called touch apps will allow designers to edit images to go on the tablet, sketch and collage to develop prototypes for applications and websites and to present designs directly on the tablet. As a central storage for the road design work done Adobe also launched its Creative Cloud. It is to serve the representation, exchange and synchronization of content, the first with the Touch Apps and later created with the tools of the Creative Suite have been and will offer 20 gigabytes of online storage.

The six announced Photoshop image-editing apps include the Touch, which is not to be confused with the already longer available smartphone Bildaufhübscher Photoshop Express, but apparently is intended to provide "core functions" of the real Photoshop, about layers, filters and correction controller. For selecting and cropping of an image, a tablet designed for finger operation and developed process called Scribble Select (scribble selection) are deployed and away from difficult boundaries between object and background - do not stop - such as hair.

To develop ideas, to graphic designers can combine images, drawings, and snippets of text in an app called collage of so-called mood boards. Debut is a demonstration of tablet-enabled Creative Suite files such as Photoshop layers or type Boards from Illustrator. The app also offers a pen tool for notes and sketching of changes that arise during the presentation of the drafts. Especially for the design of user interfaces and websites App Proto is thought [8]: The wireframe drawing board to prototypes and then export as HTML, CSS or JavaScript

With Kuler and Ideas There are also two old acquaintances among the Touch Apps: Kuler as there are already free Web service, and the color scheme generator and palette with community connection also has its firm place in the Creative Suite. Ideas were signatories to the vector it already does for IOS at no charge (except that the levels of support could be acquired by in-app purchasing additional); now Adobe wants this apparently have six dollars. The Android version is not available will cost ten dollars, as each of the five other apps as well. This includes access to the beta version of the Creative Cloud.

Prices for the final version that will not be available before 2012 are not yet known. The plan is, according to Adobe, that due to the Creative Cloud is a monthly fee, which will also include a license for locally installable Creative Suite - similar to the subscription model introduced in version 5.5.
