AMD brings affordable dual-core APU

Peu à peu completes, the processor manufacturer AMD] will expand its
so-called APU (Accelerated Processing Units) FM1 for the base. The Llano
processors A4 and A4-3300-3400 contain two cores and a graphics unit
type Radeon HD 6410D with 160 shader units. So far, AMD offered for
desktop PCs only triple-and quad-core APU.

The dual-core has a thermal design power of 65 watts, but differ in the
frequencies. The CPU part of the A4-3300 operates at 2.5 GHz, the GPU
with 443 MHz part. The A4-3400 processor cores running at 2.7 GHz and
the graphics unit has a clock frequency of 600 MHz. Upon delivery of
1,000 units required for the AMD-3300 A4 $ 64 and $ 69 for the A4-3400.
In Germany, the street prices of the two processors are 60 € to 70 €....
