In the meantime over a three year legal dispute between Apple and the
small PC manufacturer Psystar An appeals court in California has decided
to ban the computer giant's competitors from selling Mac clones can. The
decision by the 9th Circuit Court of Appeals, the pilot ate three
judges, was issued a U.S. media report, unanimously. However, the court
denied Apple's desire to court documents in the proceedings to be
declared secret.
Psystar had been trying since 2008 to sell Mac-compatible PCs. After a
lawsuit from Apple, the company behind this project in November 2009 had
been established. Computers of the series "OpenMAC" had been offered for
just under $ 700. Psystar recently put in a bought from resellers Mac OS
X-copy, the user could then install with drivers and firmware tools.
Apple has said that this violated the licensing conditions but to Mac OS
X that allow the usage only on a real Mac.
