PhoneGap to Apache project

PhoneGap The developers want to propose, according to a Google Groups
message their open-source framework for developing mobile applications
on the Apache Software Foundation as a new project. An official proposal
that could survey the open-source organization for inclusion in the
Apache Incubator is, but so far from even. The latter serves as a
"breeding ground" for projects which will examine the organization of
the addition as an Apache project.

Also consider the developer's name for the framework to change. The
reason is, according to the working Nitobi developer Brian Leroux for
the fact that there were several controversial opinions on the existing
brand. The Canadian company is a critical supporter of Nitobi PhoneGap.

PhoneGap developers can build applications with, based on Web standards
like HTML, CSS and JavaScript, and customize them for different mobile
platforms such as IOS, BlackBerry, Android, Windows Mobile and WebOS.
For mobile developers on the website of the framework documentation
materials and a table on which supports the specific functions of a
mobile system PhoneGap.

The framework is currently available under two licenses. That would be
one for the "new" BSD-style, on the other hand, the MIT license. In
August, called the stable version 1.0 was released by PhoneGap.
